Goat Cheese, Hummus & Basil Stuffed Chicken

Good evening/good morning (depending on when you’re reading).

My family and I love this product. For years we have took it. Cialis daily? It can help many men who have erectile dysfunction get and keep an erection when they become sexually stimulated.

Today has been a great day. I hope the same for the rest of you.

As always, let’s start with breakfast.

Breakfast

IMG_4802

IMG_4801

Greek yogurt + museli + strawberries & blueberries + chia seeds + PB2 + Love Grown granola + unsweetened almondmilk & coffee

Breakfast favorite is back again!

So, instead of guesstimating all of the measurements in my breakfast this morning, I took the time to measure everything out and enter them into MyPlate. The grand caloric total ended up being approximately 390 kcals. Perfect number for me. Perfect number for you? Who knows.

Lunch

IMG_4803

IMG_4807

IMG_4806

Spring mix + cucumber + grape toms + red onion + feta cheese + roasted butternut squash + smoked turkey + crumbled slice Ezekiel bread + Greek vinaigrette

Again, I took the time to measure everything and track my lunch in MyPlate. Lunch ended up being around 400 calories. Yet again, a number I am satisfied with. Satisfaction also occurring from the delicious salad. 🙂

Snack

IMG_4825

Sliced apple + raw almond butter

IMG_4824

MaraNatha’s raw almond butter is officially my favorite nut butter at this point in my relationship with nut butters. Seriously stuff is goooooood.

IMG_4823

However, when I checked the ingredient list I was a bit disappointed. This jar coming in at around ten bucks a pop contains only one ingredient. Alright so, the problem?

I CAN MAKE IT MYSELF and spend ten dollars on something else. Like organic produce because that shiz is pricey, too. Recipe coming soon…

Side note: I had a dried date as I was headed out the door to crossfit. So good yet so ugly… Poor little dates.

Oh, crossfit. How I love you.

Alright, but really. I do. Sorry.

Today was the first time I did a hang snatch hence the light weight load. During the WOD, one of the other girls was snatching 65 lbs and boy was she fighting to bang ’em out but with everyone cheering her on she finished Rx. That’s the kind of stuff that motivates me to go past my comfort zone and make improvements.

By the way, HNC was mentioned on Mark Ricketts, MD as health blog of the week! How exciting! More exciting news Wednesday.

Crock Pot Recipe + A Week in Fitness

Oh Sunday. How I love you.

The parents came down this afternoon for a late lunch at Another Broken Egg Cafe as well as NFL and Jim ‘N’ Nicks’ baby back ribs.

I love this particular brand of medicines! Buy cheapest levitra. For a man with ED, a harder erection can lead to a more satisfying sexual experience. When it comes to hardness, this can help.

Oh yeah, and for me.

Before I share the recipe I mentioned to you all last night, I’m going to share what I’ve been up to this week – fitness wise.

Week in Fitness 1/14-1/20

Monday – CrossFit

Tuesday – 5 mile run

Wednesday – CrossFit

Thursday – 3 mile run with Mom

Friday – Off

Saturday – 7 mile run

Sunday – Restorative Yoga @ Yoga Bliss

Not going to lie, I’m pretty proud of my schedule this past week and I think I just might keep it around for a while. CrossFit and running left me sore each time but switching things up allowed me to be able to incorporate everything I wanted to do in the week. A little tricking of the body and I may even be able to add in some more yoga and CrossFit. We’ll just have to see how the upcoming week turns out.

Ok ok. Recipe time!

Crock Pot Salsa Shredded Chicken with Kale

IMG_4091

Serves a lot

Ingredients

  •  4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 jar salsa
  • 1 can black beans
  • 1 can white shoepeg corn
  • 1 yellow onion, diced
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 leaves kale
  • 1-2 c chicken broth
  • Mexican oregano
  • S & P

Directions

On the morning of the day you plan on having this meal for dinner, chopped everything up that needs choppin’. While sipping on coffee with frothed milk that exploded when being frothed.

IMG_4042_2

Now, get out your crock pot and pour a nice layer of salsa on the bottom.

IMG_4048_2

There ya go. Next up: chicken breasts.

IMG_4046_2

Nestle the chicken on top layer of salsa.

IMG_4052

Don’t they look cozy? Time for the blanket of goods.

IMG_4053

Layer corn, beans, onion, and garlic.

IMG_4054_2

Then finish off with remaining salsa.

IMG_4057_2

And if you’re still sleepy like I was and forgot all about the kale, throw it on top and then pour over chicken broth.

Cook on low for 2 hours and then shred chicken using two forks. Continuing cooking another 6 hours and then say hello to this:

IMG_4086

And a house that smells drool worthy.

While this is awesome on its own, it’s even better with wild rice + quinoa.

IMG_4089

Apologies for the poor picture quality. I was hungry!

Rice cookers = lifesavers. Serious. Invest in one.

IMG_4087_2

Don’t forget to garnish with cilantro and a dollop of plain Greek yogurt (or sour cream).

IMG_4092

Perfect hearty meal for a cold winter night.

IMG_4093_2

The best part about this recipe – besides the fact that it’s zero hassle and tastes oh so good – is the endless ways to use leftovers! On a sandwich, enchiladas, in a salad…

IMG_4101

Oh the possibilities!

Make this. Really. It freezes well, too, so you have no excuse not to make it.

Here’s to the end of a great week and many more to come!

Cranberry Sauce Goodness

Good afternoon! My apologies for leaving you guys hanging for over a week. 😐

This product is the best medicine I have tried. It works well if taken 3 times a day, before each meal. Viagra cheapest price! Today, oral tablets are the most common ED treatment. This is one of them.

I hope everyone got to relish in the holidays. Christmas always comes and goes way too fast.

IMG_3546Candids are the best. 😉

While I’d be lying if I said the reason for my disappearance was due to me being too busy – because I’m definitely taking my time at home as a nice long R and R session – I wouldn’t be lying by saying that I did manage to make use of sooome of my time.

IMG_3506For example, I whipped up some cranberry sauce thanks to and impulse buy at Publix last week.

Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 bags fresh cranberries
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • zest and juice of an orange
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. water

Directions

Heat cranberries in a large pot over medium-high heat and add water and sugar. Cook for ~5 minutes and then add zest and juice. Cook until berries begin to burst and then throw in cinnamon sticks and reduced heat to low. Let cook up till cranberries start to congeal then turn off heat and refrigerate until ready to serve.

IMG_3516

IMG_3519You wanna know a good way to use cranberry sauce?

Put it on a breakfast sandwich.

IMG_3537Oh yes. Breakfast sandwich heaven.

Ending this post on a cute note…

IMG_3541From my backyard to yours, have a good Friday!

Week in a Wednesay

Hello everyone! My apologies for going MIA the past week. I’ve been enjoying my time at home so much that I put my computer on the back burner. However, I still managed to keep my camera in mind so I could show you all what I’ve been up to!

Friday – Homeward Bound

We use these more than any others and are happy with them. Buy cialis cheap us? You can buy branded and generic medicines.

Friday morning after CrossFit I made my way home for the break – leaving my cozy dorm room behind. Before I completely over packed up my things I thought I’d snap a few pictures of my room so 1) I’ll remember where everything goes when I get back and 2) because I’m a little obsessed with it.

IMG_3395IMG_3396

IMG_3401

IMG_3399Once I arrived in my old stopping grounds I immediately started a pot of coffee to sooth a killer migraine.

IMG_3410Whilst sipping on my pipping hot mug of caffeine and reading Kristin’s Friday Favorites mom and I saw something that appealed to the both of us: Crock Pot Rancher’s Roast Beef, and so dinner was decided.

IMG_3430

IMG_3431

Saturday – …

The only somewhat exciting thing that happened on Saturday was a comfortable and chatty 3.5 mile run with Mom.

Sunday – Christmas Cookies Atlas!

After church on Sunday I summoned one of my best friends, Emelie, to the house for some Christmas cookie baking and catching up.

IMG_3438 IMG_3439We sipped chocolate peppermint coffee with a splash of eggnog and listened to Christmas music on Pandora while we baked.

IMG_3450 IMG_3452Unfortunately, there was no such thing as a gingerbread man cookie cut-out or any festive cookie cut-out for that matter in the house so we made due with hearts, squirrels, and acorns. (Squirrel and acorn courtesy of Madeline, love you!)

photo-14

photo-15We also whipped up these little beauties pictured above. So dangerously delicious especially after warmed in the microwave for 15 seconds. Don’t even get me started.

Monday – Winner Winner Chicken Dinner

Stephen and I made a trip over to Huntsville to run a few errands and pick up some groceries at Earthfare for dinner – which ended being a total success by the way.

IMG_3485Whoa mama was this chicken off the wall tasty!

Tuesday – CrossFit with Dad + Breakfast

Tuesday morning I whipped up two breakfast sandwiches for me and the pops before we headed out to our first day of the CrossFit Intro course that we’re taking together while I’m home for break.

IMG_3490For me: toasted english muffin + Morning Star soy sausage patty + egg white + leftover goat cheese & hot pepper sauce.

This breakfast made me remember how much I enjoy savory morning meals.

IMG_3493For Dad: toasted english muffin + swiss cheese + deli turkey + whole egg + honey mustard mayonnaise.

No pictures from CrossFit – sorry! 😐

Wednesday – Leftover Lunches Rule

This morning Dad and I had another intro class at CrossFit Huntsville. So far so good! I think my dad is enjoying it more than he puts off but who knows. Even if he isn’t, I know I sure am and having him there makes it all the more! 🙂

Again, no pictures from CrossFit – promise I’ll try and remember to take a few on Saturday!

When I got home from CrossFit I cleaned and organized the entire kitchen, refrigerator, freezer, pantry, and my room. Sheesh! You would’ve sworn a heard of elephants (Roll Tide?) ran through my room. After I finished cleaning I showered up and tended to my rumbling tummy.

IMG_3496Leftover brussels + grilled chicken + green beans + goat cheese + hot pepper raspberry chipotle sauce (kind of obsessed lately) with a side of fitness bread I picked up from Fresh Market today.

Annnd that sums up the past week! Now I’m off to watch a movie with the boyfriend. Have a good night y’all!
