How’s your Thursday been so far? Mine started with an 8am class with a lot still on the agenda for the evening and I’m already exhausted. It’s that time again…Oy vey.
Some happenings since we last spoke…
1. Today marks the birthday of my dear friend and roomie. Happy Birthday Jilli!!

2. …of these *almost* awesome strawberry mojitos we made one night after rush workshop.
Must recreate these tasty drinks again ASAP.
3. Back to school dinner
I whipped up a deeelish meal on Tuesday night as a little before classes start back hoorah.Â On the menu: fiery Jamaican jerk marinated chicken breasts, squash and zucchini, and quinoa. The marinade was a Target find and it was sooo good and buy viagra new york relatively inexpensive. I definitely suggest you scope out Archer Farms brand marinades next time you make a Tarjay run. I know I sure will.
4. First rec workout of the semester
After first semester last year I stopped going to the campus rec center since I had started a membership at a local CrossFit box. Of course I loved CrossFit but I seriously started missing the rec center. Especially over the summer when my membership was up for CrossFit and I couldn’t go to the rec since I wasn’t enrolled in school. Now that fall semester is back in action I finally got a workout in at the rec, yippee! I did 45 minutes of intervals on the elliptical and then some abdominal work and I am one sore cookie cause of it!
5. The best breakfast EVER
The other morning I woke up craving something savory which is toootally out of character for me. (I’m a sweet breakfast eater all the way.) There was some chicken sausage in the freezer waiting to be eaten so decided it was time.
I cooked the sausage on the stove top in some butter and then cooked an egg over hard in the same pan then put the two on a piece of Ezekiel pita with a fewÂ
thousandÂ dashes of hot sauce and ate it like a taco. OHMIGAWD, it tasted just like a piece of pizza! Oddly enough… And only around 250 calories which is slim eatin’ according to my standards. Served alongside some fresh fruit, it was the perfect first day of class meal. Definitely one to add to theÂ bfast rotation.
