Fairhope + The Shoulder 5K

Hello hello friends!

I hope every one is wrapping the week up nicely. Currently, I’m relaxing on the couch while watching The Hangover with my parents who are in town for a couple of days.

I have been using this product for years. I have tried others but have not found anything that works better for me. Generic viagra without prescription. Discuss your general health status with your doctor to ensure that you are healthy enough to engage in sexual activity.

On to the weekend recap…

This weekend I was in Fairhope with some family to run a 5K in honor of a cousin who passed. All the proceeds from the race went to The Shoulder Charity and my relative, Barry, organized the whole thing. All in all the race was awesome! We’ll get to that later.

Here’s a few pictures of me and my lovely cousin/best friend/sister Brookley from our stroll around downtown Fairhope:

Such a beautiful town and I love that it’s full of family from my dad’s side.

Now for the race…

The morning started fairly early with a race time at 8:00 am.

Kashi Heart to Heart + Kashi GoLean cinnamon crunch + almond butter + banana slices + skim milk & coffee

I wish I had woken up earlier so my breakfast would have had time to digest before the race. The Krispy Kreme donut minutes before the race probably didn’t help either but I could not pass one up.

Nevertheless, the breakfast and impulsive donut didn’t get in the way of a great run.

While my personal records from high school laugh in this race time’s face, I was still very pleased with my pace. Especially since I only ran once during the week and had no intentions of trying to seriously compete. I ended up coming third overall in the women’s division. Yippee! 😀

We hit the road shortly after myself, Leary, and Brookley crossed the finish line. With that being said here’s what I have from the ride home:

Salt & Pepper cashews (<— holy yum!)

Mediterranean chicken wrap + apple from Target (my craving for one of these was beyond intense — thanks for stopping Brookley!)

That’s all I’ve got. Have a good night y’all!

  1. Claire, you won a medal – first in your age catergory (15-19). I will mail it to you. Congratulations and thanks so much for coming. I LOVED meeting you and having so much family at the race. I will be more relaxed next we meet.

    1. Ah exciting! Thank you! You did a wonderful job organizing the race and I enjoyed participating! Can’t wait until we get the chance to hang out again, so nice to finally meet!
