Roomie Shenanigans

Hiya y’all and happy Friday!

Does anyone else feel like last weekend was Memorial Day? I cannot believe Labor Day weekend is upon us! Any fun plans for the holiday? I’m bringing a few friends home with me for some fun on the lake and football! Roll Tide/Gueax Tigers! Hah.

Lately, I’ve buy viagra on internet been getting into a lot of random and fun shenanigans with my roomies.

Heh heh.

First, we broke in the ice cream maker with homemade s’more ice cream which was TO DIE FOR.

Then, we listened to the Backstreet Boys on the bridge on the way to Northport.

They played a lot of their new stuff (I had no idea they even had a new album out…) that was just okay but when they played the oldie hits we all got so pumped. After a while the cops came and told everyone viewing from the bridge that we had to move so we headed home. Since we live so close to the amphitheater I still heard them play “Backstreet’s Back, Alright” when I was getting into bed. Pretty cool. ๐Ÿ™‚

As if that all wasn’t enough, we had a pizza night, too.

Jilli’s masterpiece:

Black olives, barf.

And mine:

Looks huge but I stretched the dough a looot. Or at least that’s the excuse I’m going with. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Winston has dually enjoyed the extra company as well.

Almost every night I wake up and he’s practically pushed me off the bed. I love that he’s a snuggler but every inch I move he makes up for. Gotta love the weirdo pup.

Hope you guys have an incredible and safe holiday weekend and I’ll see ya later!

Ice cream maker, check.

TGIF everyone!

So tonight is Greek Fest here at UA and Wiz Khalifa(!), Dispatch(!!!), and Mother Funk are playing. I.can’t.wait.

Furthermore, this little gem arrived in the mail for me earlier this afternoon…

Ice cream maker, check.

I CANNOT wait to make this recipe. I can’t even deal with the deliciousness and genius of that concoction. Also, I have some leftover sugar cookie dough in my freezer from an Alpha Gam nutty buddy cookie shindig that I think would make an excellent addition to some homemade vanilla ice cream. Oh! And Reese Puffs because somehow those ended up in my kitchen.

Shortly before the ice cream maker found its home, I had lunch. I finished off the last of some salad greens thus giving me a disposable salad bowl. Score.

I just gotta tell you what’s up in this salad because it was so stinkin’ good. So here goes…

  • salad greens (duh)
  • cucumbers
  • grape toms
  • avocado
  • roasted sweet potato
  • Wickles pickles
  • Jennie-O turkey burger cooked in veggie broth
  • feta
  • T-lish dressing (SO good)

Must recreate again soon…like for dinner.

After lunch and said ice cream maker’s arrival, I made my way to the campus rec center. A few minutes before I left I had a pre-workout supplement drink.

Last week My Supplement Store sent me some more all-natural and organic samples to try including this Beta Peptide supplement (what’s in my shaker bottle).

Usually I’m not one for supplementing before a workout, I’ll just have a small snack instead ’cause I’m lazy. Surprisingly this supplement helped keep my stamina up during my workout and decreased muscle burn/fatigue. Another surprise, it tasted just like fruit punch! I really like the fact that Beta Peptide is comprised of 29 nutrient-dense fruits including 10 organic fruits. Quite the superfood supplement that I would definitely spend my own money on!

(Oh and my roommate can also vouch for the taste quality.)

MSS sent me a few other samples…

New Chapter Perfect Immune organic multivitamins

Nature’s Way Alive! Women’s multivitamin

Nova Forme Cyto Greens supplement

I look forward to trying the remaining samples. They all fit the bill for being all-natural or organic and are easy to add into anyone’s everyday routine.

If you haven’t read my other review on My Supplement Store you can do so here.

MSS is a really cool site with friendly people so you should head over there and say hi. Maybe even make friends with them, too, and buy some supplements ‘n stuff. viagra in canada They have err thang, even the organic stuff that’s right up my alley. That’s a rare find, folks. Rare find.

Before I sign off, please appreciate the cuteness and horrible quality of this photo. Love ya Winst.

I’m off to shower and get ready for a fun evening. Peace out my friends!

Thursday Things 8/22

Hey y’all!

How’s your Thursday been so far? Mine started with an 8am class with a lot still on the agenda for the evening and I’m already exhausted. It’s that time again…Oy vey.

Some happenings since we last spoke…

1. Today marks the birthday of my dear friend and roomie. Happy Birthday Jilli!!

(Jilli is on the right, Meg on the left)

This picture reminds me…

2. …of these *almost* awesome strawberry mojitos we made one night after rush workshop.

Must recreate these tasty drinks again ASAP.

3. Back to school dinner

I whipped up a deeelish meal on Tuesday night as a little before classes start back hoorah.ร‚ย On the menu: fiery Jamaican jerk marinated chicken breasts, squash and zucchini, and quinoa. The marinade was a Target find and it was sooo good and buy viagra new york relatively inexpensive. I definitely suggest you scope out Archer Farms brand marinades next time you make a Tarjay run. I know I sure will.

4. First rec workout of the semester

Image 1

After first semester last year I stopped going to the campus rec center since I had started a membership at a local CrossFit box. Of course I loved CrossFit but I seriously started missing the rec center. Especially over the summer when my membership was up for CrossFit and I couldn’t go to the rec since I wasn’t enrolled in school. Now that fall semester is back in action I finally got a workout in at the rec, yippee! I did 45 minutes of intervals on the elliptical and then some abdominal work and I am one sore cookie cause of it!

5. The best breakfast EVER

The other morning I woke up craving something savory which is toootally out of character for me. (I’m a sweet breakfast eater all the way.) There was some chicken sausage in the freezer waiting to be eaten so decided it was time.

I cooked the sausage on the stove top in some butter and then cooked an egg over hard in the same pan then put the two on a piece of Ezekiel pita with a fewร‚ย thousandร‚ย dashes of hot sauce and ate it like a taco. OHMIGAWD, it tasted just like a piece of pizza! Oddly enough… And only around 250 calories which is slim eatin’ according to my standards. Served alongside some fresh fruit, it was the perfect first day of class meal. Definitely one to add to theร‚ย bfast rotation.

Need I say more? ๐Ÿ˜‰

That’s all for this week’s Thursday Things. Check back with ya soon my peeps!

Time Flies

Well hey there strangers!

As you can tell, I took a break from the ole blog due to my recent crazy busy schedule.

The beginning of this month one of my roomies moved in and shortly after that we had rush female viagra cream workshop and the following week was sorority recruitment.

In case you didn’t know, I’m a student at the University of Alabama and an active member of Alpha Gamma Delta. Another tidbit you may or may not have known: sorority recruitment at UA is RIDICULOUS! There were 2113 potential new members this year and AGD snagged 112 of them for the most perfect new pledge class (next to my own, of course).

I would have been back earlier this week but I was feeling under the weather thanks to some awful sinus pressure and a killer migraine. No worries though, I’m almost back to 100%! Just in time for classes to start tomorrow…

I still cannot wrap my brain around how fast freshman year went by. As clique as it sounds, it feels like only yesterday I was just starting college! Crazy how time flies when you’re having fun. ๐Ÿ˜‰

IMG_3856Oh, Winston had his first grooming appointment today. Isn’t he handsome? ๐Ÿ˜‰

There’s quite a few fun things on the agenda for this week so hopefully I’ll be back on a regular posting schedule.

Hope you all have been doing good since I’ve been gone! I’ll catch ya later!

Fam Jam Reunion + Food Preppin'

Hey guys! What’s been crackalackin’?

I spent Thursday thru yesterday morning in Fairhope for a fam jam reunion.

Lots of fun spent with my people. The Parents and I are on the far right. ๐Ÿ™‚

We had quite the time in Fairhope, biking and shopping all over the place. On Sunday evening we biked about a mile down from our popular online pharmacy hotel to The Wash House, a restaurant my parents had eaten at before and gave it great reviews, only to find they were booked for the night. D’oh! Should’ve made reservations. ๐Ÿ˜

(Side note: biking in a maxi is harder than it seems.)

I was kind of bummed our dinner plans fell through because the bread pudding on The Wash House website looks to DIE for. We ended up riding back and just having dinner at the hotel which was mighty delicious, btw. The pretty view didn’t hurt either.

Today has been about getting settled back in lil T-Town before the ball starts rolling. And from the looks of it, it’s going to be rolling quickly without any signs of stopping. On Friday one of my roomies will be moving in (eeek!) and then Saturday two of my friendsies will be “moving in” until their place is ready on the 16th and then on the 17th my other roomie will join us. With rush workshop, rush, classes, a new work schedule, project health training and goodness knows what else I’m gonna be busy!

I was up bright and early so I could hit up the farmer’s market. Here’s the treasure I brought back, all for $12. Farmer’s market FTW!

(Peaches and maters x2)

After my trip to the FM I came home for some sunflower seed and almond butter toast with banana slices. No picture because I know you guys have seen that one a zillion times. Once I polished off breakfast I got to work on some food prepping for the following week.

Froze nanners for smoothies (not pictured, obvi)

Cooked quinoa and wild rice blend

Washed and chopped veggies

Baked chicken tenders

And made some protein power balls

Recipe tomorrow ๐Ÿ˜€

Winston sleepily watched from his spot on the love seat.

Gosh he makes my heart melt.

I’m off to finish the mountain of laundry waiting on me, sweat to a TurboFire DVD, and then get my hair and nails done. Weee!

Have a great afternoon!
