Sunday’s are always so bittersweet. Relaxing and wrapping up the week only to welcome another Monday.

In other news…

Fail of the Day

The Parents and I rode bikes down to my grandmother’s house for a visit. My great aunt Joan was there, too, so we all relaxed on the screened-in porch and chatted. It was lovely and I took a few pictures to share with you but unfortunately forgot to put the memory card in my camera and neglected to bring the correct USV cord…fail. Suppose you’ll have to go without pictures of all of our faces for this post.

My Week in Fitness 6/2-6/9

M – walk with Sophie
50 mile bike ride
 – 60 minute {warm} yoga
Th – quick upper body weight sesh + fartlek walk/run intervals
F – 1 hour power walk + abs
S – strength + cardio blast circuit
Su – R&R at its finest

Food for the Mind


I’ve always really liked this quote. So often I find myself worrying about tomorrow, next week, next month, next year, and…well, you get the point, but how much of that worrying really does any good? Nada. That’s how much. I am very avid about praying for strength so maybe I should become more avid about worrying less.
